Story behind the Midnight Meadow

It all started with wedding invitations for my sister-in-law. When she asked me to help her with creating them, I was over the moon. Before that, I had only made one project of this kind - invitations to my own wedding, and I had such a great time doing it! This time, however, the stakes were higher. It was about HER big day. I had a chance to make it just a bit more unique with my watercolour art. So I started painting! As a result, the delicate aquarelle flowers decorated not only wedding invitations but also table numbers, vignettes, menu, bottles, guest book and all the wedding stationery.

When I was going through my 'art' folder on my laptop, I stumbled upon the 'A&J' folder. I had long forgotten what was inside (yes, I know, I should work on my archiving system). Inside, there was a great inspiration for a pattern collection waiting to be rediscovered. This is how the Midnight Meadow mini collection was born.

Midnight Meadow - mini collection

The graceful and fragile watercolour flowers and leaves are opposed by dark, deep navies. It brings to mind a moonlight dancing on white petals. The whole collection is very elegant and opulent.

Midnight Meadow patterns

Three unique watercolour patterns are the base for this chic collection. Together with alternative colourways and placement graphics, they form a perfect set of designs for fabric or stationery.
