Story behind the Painted Petals

On my last birthday, my dear friends gave me a beautiful surprise. I was short after giving birth to my little girl, looking and feeling like a mess.  My husband took the kids for a walk as I could rest a bit. I was half asleep when I heard some strange noises in the corridor. When I walked there to check it, a dozen people jumped on me with cake, flowers and presents. I hugged, I cried, I laughed. After a short shower, I enjoyed a nice evening with my dear friends, kids and husband. 

The whole next week, a beautiful bouquet standing on our dining table reminded me of how lucky I was to have my dear friends who love me and accept me in any state of mess. I painted the flowers and created this unique pattern to remember the sweet feeling of being loved, appreciated and cared about.
